Taki Games & Two3 Labs To Launch ‘Puzzle Smoofs’ Web3 Game

Social gaming reward layer Taki Games have joined forces with web3 entertainment studio Two3 Labs to develop and launch Puzzle Smoofs, a mobile game based on the Smoofs NFT collection.

This adds to a fast-growing library on the Taki Network, including other branded titles such as Game7 Food Fighter and Pac-Cat.

Puzzle Smoofs is current in-development, with an expected March 2024 release.

What is Taki Games?

Taki Games is a decentralised gaming network that allows players to earn real-money rewards. Their mission is to bring the vast mobile gaming market into the web3 fold, partnering with web3-native brands and communities to expand their reach.

Their reward structure, built around the $TAKI token, utilises a clever buy-and-burn mechanism to deliver value and allow gamers to generate revenue through play – with over 1 million $TAKI tokens burned to date.

Since their pivot to web3 gaming, Taki Games has grown to become a top 15 dApp on Polygon according to DappRadar, with $TAKI trading volume averaging $13M per day in mid-February, and their app achieving over 5 million downloads on Android to date.

What is the Smoofs NFT collection?

Launched in December 2023, Smoofs is an 8,000-piece NFT collection on Polygon, created by Two3 Labs.

The collection has quickly gained popularity, generating over $300,000 of trading volume to date and becoming home to one of Polygon’s most engaged communities.

Prior to Smoofs, the Two3 Labs team gained prominence for their Cow Cow NFT collection on MultiversX, which has generated a sales volume of over $2 million since February 2023.

What is Puzzle Smoofs?

Puzzle Smoofs is a mobile puzzle title, available on major app stores, set to release in March 2024.

The impending launch of the game will significantly expand the utility of the Smoofs NFT collection, and will give holders a new way to interact with their holdings.

According to Sorin Diaconu, Co-Founder of Two3 Labs, Smoofs is; “…more than just a collection of NFTs – it’s a community-centric brand”, and that the collaboration with Taki Games “is an important milestone for us, offering mainstream gamers an innovative way to engage with our brand and community.”
