The Oppo Reno 9 series is set to debut in China on Thursday. This upcoming lineup will include the vanilla Oppo Reno 9, Oppo Reno 9 Pro, and Oppo Reno 9 Pro+. Oppo had revealed the storage and memory configuration options for these handsets ahead of launch. It has also been confirmed that they will arrive in three different colors. Now, the company has revealed the camera details of the Oppo Reno 9 series. It has been confirmed that it comes with a 50-megapixel Sony flagship sensor.

Oppo shared a post on Weibo on Monday revealing that the upcoming Oppo Reno 9 series will receive a 50-megapixel Sony flagship sensor. It comes with optical image stabilization (OIS) and offers enhanced night photography. In particular, only the Oppo Reno 9 Pro and Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ will benefit from this image sensor. In addition, only the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ will have the OIS function.

In addition, these Oppo smartphones will be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus. The company had previously confirmed that the Oppo Reno 9 series will feature a MariSilicon X imaging neural processing unit (NPU). It is set to launch in China on November 24 at 2:30 p.m. local time / 12:00 p.m. IST.

Oppo has unveiled the Oppo Reno 9 series design confirming that these smartphones will sport a center aligned punch-hole slot. They will also come in three different color options. Additionally, the standard Oppo Reno 9 will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and will weigh around 174g. The Oppo Reno 9 Pro is confirmed to pack up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. These two models will have a 4,500 mAh battery and will be 7.19 mm thick.

Meanwhile, the top-end Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ will feature up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will receive a 4,700 mAh battery and will be 7.99 mm thick.
