Capitalizing on the buzz surrounding Solana memecoins, the Milady ‘Wif Hat’ memecoin — tied to the Milady NFT series — hit its presale goal by raising $18.7 million (91,486 SOL) in just two hours yesterday.
Launching the presale, the team behind the Milady NFT series allowed investments ranging from a minimum of $182 (1 SOL) to a maximum of around $24,000 (88,888 SOL).
Enthusiastic responses led to immediate subscriptions, prompting Milady to swiftly announce on X that the presale had concluded upon hitting its funding cap.
The Milady Maker NFT collection also grows in popularity and value, with 24-hour sales volume spiking by 22.9% to $1.67 million (508.33 ETH), as per CoinGecko.
Swift Memecoin Presale Results
Key influencers in the crypto ecosystem have played a significant role in the rapid success of various presales. Su Zhu, co-founder of Three Arrows Capital, gave notable support to the Milady NFT line-up in early March, which led to a considerable price surge for individual NFTs, peaking at $19,000 before settling at $11,742.
Such a surge in Milady’s value reflects the broader enthusiasm within the cryptocurrency market. It runs parallel to the rise of memecoins like Dogwifhat ($WIF), which boasts a market cap of $2.44 billion at the time of writing.
The trend of memecoin presales demonstrates apparent successes. Standout successes include Kero’s $NAP, which managed to raise $10 million in a single day; Satoshi’s Mom’s $NOS, which attracted $3 million; and Dekadente’s $SMOLE reached a record $30 million presale, among many other achievements.
