Keeping track of every notable roster change in Counter-Strike is a tall task, especially with a number of teams assessing their options following the conclusion of the BLAST Paris Major on May 21. If you want to stay updated with all the signings and rumors, this roster tracker is exactly what you need.

Several professional organizations will be analyzing their lineups and deciding if they want to pursue roster changes ahead of the worldwide release of CS2 this summer. The timing for roster changes couldn’t be better since the next Major will be played in 2024.

Dot Esports will update this roster tracker with every confirmed or rumored roster change concerning the best players and teams of the CS professional scene, allowing you to get the news all in one place.

Confirmed roster changes in Counter-Strike after the Paris Major

The Mongolz

The Mongolz replaced their former AWPer Tuvshintugs “Annihilation” Nyamdorj and former rifler Baatarkhuu “Bart4k” Batbold with the primary sniper Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch and 15-year-old youngster Ayush “mzinho” Batbold on May 31. These roster changes come 20 days after their participation in the BLAST Paris Major Challengers Stage.

Team Liquid’s veteran captain nitr0 will step down from the active lineup following the end of IEM Dallas on June 4. He said on May 26 that he’s in a “different stage” of life now with a growing family–his wife gave birth to their second child ahead of the Paris Major–and that the amount of travel required to be a professional player has become too much.

It’s unclear who will replace nitr0 at this point, but some CS fans have already discussed who are the best options.

Reports and rumors about incoming Counter-Strike roster changes

GamerLegion

Unlike what the rumors suggest, GamerLegion aren’t disbanding. The runners-up of the BLAST Paris Major want to stay in tier-one and believe it can keep the star players Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek and Ivan “iM” Mihai for CS2.

FURIA

Reports on May 30 have surfaced suggesting a change in leadership could be in the works for top Brazilian team FURIA. The squad has reportedly reached out to Imperial to try their hand at none other than FalleN.

FURIA’s co-owner Andr? Akkari confirmed the reports in a letter to fans on June 4 and said FURIA is due to meet with FalleN in the next two weeks to discuss his signing.

BIG

Despite warming the bench since early 2023, Florian “syrsoN” Rische is still hot property. The German AWPer has reportedly been in talks with teams like OG and Falcons, alongside other orgs within the top 15. BIG’s current five-man roster won’t see any changes just yet, only their benched star AWPer. Where syrsoN finds himself is yet to be determined.

Ninjas in Pyjamas

Swedish rifler and in-game leader Hampus Poser has let the world know he’s ready to return to activity after spending time on the bench since January due to health issues. Jonas Gundersen, the COO at NiP, told HLTV the organization will assess its CS roster during the off-season.

Astralis

Astralis is reportedly adding Victor Staehr at the beginning of 2024 after his contract with Sprout runs out at the end of December. The organizations are negotiating an earlier transfer, but Astralis has reportedly failed to meet the buyout amount Sprout is asking for to let go of Staehr.

MIBR/Fluxo

MIBR has reportedly lined up a $280,000 offer for Fluxo’s star rifler Lucas “Lucaozy” Neves. The 21-year-old player has been on MIBR’s wishlist since the end of 2022 and should he join them this time, he’d likely fill the spot left vacant by Matheus “Tuurtle” Anhaia.

G2

There’s been an ongoing rumor in the community since May 24 that G2 will replace in-game leader HooXi with GamerLegion’s young captain Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek. G2 didn’t reach the playoffs of the BLAST Paris Major despite being one of the favorite teams to win the competition, while siuhy guided an overlooked GamerLegion the grand final. HooXi took responsibility for G2’s early elimination as soon as they were knocked out.

G2 didn’t do as well at IEM Dallas 2023 either, falling short in the quarterfinals. After finishing their run, huNter- claimed on June 4 that HooXi will continue in-game leading for the team, somewhat shutting down the rumored roster change.

OG

OG’s captain Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen and star player Shahar “flameZ” Shushan are currently exploring their options, according to a report by Blix.gg on May 24. FlameZ is one of the best players on the roster and losing his firepower could spell trouble for OG, who’s already struggling in 2023. The international team didn’t pass the Challengers Stage at the Paris Major in May.

NAVI will part ways with head coach Andrij “B1ad3” Ghorodensjkyj and 17-year-old player Andrij “npl” Kukharsjkyj, according to a report by Russian insider John Knyaziev from May 23. If these changes do come to fruition, B1ad3’s stint with the Ukrainian organization would finish after four years. The head coach helped them win multiple tournaments, most notably NAVI’s first Major at PGL Stockholm in 2021. As for npl, B1ade himself said he wasn’t on the same level as his teammates during the Paris Major.
