A number of free YouTube users claimed to be forced to watch 10 ads without a break when they wanted to enjoy video content. They also protested the platform made by Google on a number of social media including Twitter and Reddit.
Compiled from 9To5Google, Monday (19/9/2022), in their protest, the unfortunate users said that they found longer ad breaks than usual. Worse yet, the ads appear without being able to be skipped at all.
YouTube itself has opened up about the unpleasant experience experienced by free users. It said it was just a temporary trial that only a small percentage of users experienced in some regions.
