Dairy Queen NFT

Dairy Queen, a well-known American fast food brand that’s famous for its delicious soft ice cream, is whipping up a new venture — this time around, with the NFT project ‘Weirdo Ghost Gang’ from now until December 31.

Following the footsteps of Bored Ape Yacht Club and Pudgy Penguins integrating NFTs into the mainstream, this collaboration is set to transform a Dairy Queen pop-up store in Chengdu, China, into a distinctive “ghost ski resort” that features NFT-driven ski parties and merchandise until this year’s end.

Dairy Queen’s NFT-Influenced Winter Party

Once entering the doors of this ice cream haven, customers will soon notice Weird Ghost Gang’s thematic decor and co-branded goods, like trendy beanies, sticking with the winter theme, and unisex canvas bags.

Although the Dairy Queen on Chunxi Road, Chengdu, is the only branch embracing the whole NFT-themed experience, its sister branch on Huaihai Middle Road, Shanghai, is also offering a “ski ghost mixing bowl” — an artistically created ice cream sundae that mirrors a ski slope garnished with crunchy treats and rich chocolate sauce.

Initiatives like this — that emerge from the NFT world — symbolize a future-orientated plan to broaden revenue sources. As this year comes to a close, this exciting event stands as a shining example of how conventional businesses can thrive by adjusting to the ever-changing tastes of a tech-savvy consumer base.
