Samsung's Bixby is now available for kids

Not only is Samsung’s Bixby still around, it’s gaining new features. It might seem shocking if you thought the Korean company’s support software had been discontinued, or at least no longer actively developed.

In the end, Bixby is still alive and kicking. And now available for children! This exciting development comes courtesy of a new update, which is currently rolling out. Once installed, the wizard will have the ability to work with child accounts (for children under 13).

Kids can ask Bixby questions, listen to stories, play music, and play games. Bixby will cater to kids with age-appropriate, kid-friendly content.

For this to work, you will need to create a group for your family through your Samsung account. You can then set up child accounts that they can use on Samsung devices, and once you do, they can enjoy Bixby.

Unfortunately, Bixby for kids is only supported in the US and Korea at this time, and more countries will be added gradually in the future.
