Long standing Bitcoin exchange, Blockchain.com, has announced free NFT domains for all its customers, partnering with Unstoppable Domains to level up Web3 identity across the board.
Through its new initiative, anyone with an account will receive a bespoke blockchain domain name, which will enable users to switch out their cumbersome wallet strings for a sleek and streamlined personal moniker. This means users will now have the chance to mould their very own highly personalized Web3 identities.
The new move comes in as part of Unstoppable Domains’ innovative branding initiative which allows any company to set their own name as a suffix to a virtual identity, paving the way for a new surge in next-level Web3 branding, all powered by the energy efficient and ecologically aware Polygon network.

To get involved, sign up to the waitlist on Blockchain.com, and await further instructions. Following the initial set up, users can select their preferred domain name if available. Then hook up that new domain to a crypto wallet before venturing forth into the Web3 wilderness.
Despite the obvious branding connotations, it remains unlikely that the casual user will associate the domain with Blockchain.com, due to its far-reaching use as a noun. Never mind, free NFT stuff, bravo!
