When does Diablo 4 season four start?
Diablo 4 season four is confirmed to start on May 14, 2024, as revealed by Blizzard Entertainment during one of its Campfire Chat videos. It was meant to begin much sooner on April 26, right after season three ended, but Blizzard has had to delay season four by an extra month. As such, season three, Season of Construct, has been extended to end on May 14, so players aren’t waiting an extra two and a half weeks for the next season to start.
It’s still unknown how long this upcoming season will go on, but it could very well lead into the Vessel of Hatred Diablo 4 expansion, which only has a vague release window of late 2024. While an exact start time for season four hasn’t been confirmed by Blizzard yet, previous seasons have typically begun about 12pm CT, so we’ve set the below countdown for that time. We’ll be sure to update it if Blizzard provides a different time.

One thing we do know about season four is that it will feature an extensive list of itemization changes for Diablo 4. For example, item drops won’t be as frequent, but the quality of dropped items will be much higher.
