Apple's iCloud website gets a widget-style overhaul TechCrunch

Apple has finally launched a redesigned iCloud website with apps appearing as widget-style tiles instead of icons. People may be used to accessing iCloud through native apps on their iPhones, iPads, or Macs, but it’s a welcome change for people who use the website to quickly access or delete certain photos, documents, notes, and reminders. some of the unused files to free up space.

The iCloud website is also particularly useful for people who use a different computer at work, or for people who have an iPhone and a Windows laptop. You do not need to install an application to access and modify your notes from a computer for example.

As MacRumors noted, the company has been testing the new design with app tiles for a few weeks, and now it’s rolling it out to all users. The legacy design of the iCloud site simply displayed app icons when you signed in. It now displays details under app tiles such as recent reminders, notes, documents, pages, and photos. There’s even a launch tile with app icons for quick access to certain apps.

With the new design, you can create a new page document, reminder, note, master presentation, or digital spreadsheet by clicking the + sign in the top menu bar.

The grid icon in the menu bar lets you access applications. It also hosts options to check your storage and change your plan. The website layout is now customizable. When you click the “Customize” button, you’ll see the widgets shake — like on iPhone or iPad — so you can move or delete them.
