Italian footballing giant, AC Milan, has penned a grand new exclusivity deal with sports NFT pioneers, Sorare. The collaboration will open up the team to a whole new wave of NFT-powered fantasy footballing revelry.
The multi-year partnership will see AC Milan’s roster of stars represented on the Web3 playing field, where fans can then collect, trade and compete using official merchandise within the ever-expanding Sorare ecosystem, resulting in the immersive world of football bleeding into the hi-tech virtual realm.
Through the new accord, AC Milan will continue down its non-fungible path into the era of the metaverse where it intends to leverage the power of Web3 in order to engage with its fans on a much more personal level.
