Poco C40 spotted on NBTC Thailand and BIS India, expected to launch soon

Poco C40 has been spotted on the websites of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) Thailand and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) India suggesting the C40 moniker and stating that the new Poco smartphone is expected to launch soon. The NBTC Thailand, as spotted, has granted the smartphone approval. The certification pages did not contain details about the specifications of the smartphone. The upcoming smartphone has been listed on the NBTC Thailand website with model number 220333QPG and model name “Poco C40”. Poco has yet to officially confirm the launch of the smartphone in India.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the Poco C40 has been spotted on the NBTC Thailand and BIS India websites. Although the listings do not contain the details regarding the specifications of the smartphone, they hint at the supposed nickname of the Poco C40 and also indicate the imminent launch of the new Poco phone.

As mentioned, the smartphone has been certified by NBTC Thailand and listed on their website under model number 220333QPG and model name “Poco C40”.

Poco C40 specs (rumored)

According to a recent report, the Poco C40 will join Poco’s affordable C-Series lineup. The smartphone would not be equipped with a Qualcomm, MediaTek or Unisoc SoC, but rather a JR510 SoC. The next Poco smartphone is also expected to come with MIUI Go, which is said to be a special version of the MIUI operating system. A smartphone was also spotted on the Federal Communications Commission’s list under model number 220333QPG, according to the report.

Poco has yet to confirm the launch of the smartphone and did not provide any further details. Neither Poco nor Xiaomi gave details regarding the special new user interface called MIUI Go, which has yet to debut.
