MW3 Players Discover Bizarre Solution to Camouflage Bug

MW3 players are discovering a strange workaround to a known bug that is causing issues unlocking gun camos.

Many players are reporting issues with a camouflage challenge that requires them to achieve a certain number of kills in a tactical position while moving.

The problem is that while they are killing, the game is not registering them for the challenge.

However, some players have reported a strange solution to the problem that doesn’t make much sense.

MW3 players should use a red dot sight to help themselves

When a cry for help regarding this bug was posted on Reddit, the poster was expressing frustration that they had 9 of the 10 kills required and the 10th kill did not register for them.

“I did it by walking and sliding about 50 times, just to make sure. The problem is I’m not getting any progress.

In their cry for help, another user offered them a solution that most players wouldn’t assume was the way to do it: “You need a red dot scope for the tactical position to register correctly .”

For some reason this user had found this to be the solution to their problem in MW3.

A red dot sight is not at all an accessory that should have a tactical stance effect, as the stance shows the character holding the weapon at an angle, without aiming down sights. This is essentially a glorified hip-firing position.

But it seems that for some reason this accessory is necessary for the camouflage to be unlocked.
