A new League of Legends patch helps spice up the meta every two weeks, chopping and changing champions for the sake of balance.

Every change has the potential to have a significant impact on the state of the game, in both professional play and solo queue. We sifted through League stats site U.GG to provide you with a list of the champions with the highest win rates in the current patch.

Here are the best champions in League Patch 13.8, according to U.GG stats.

Seraphine

Seraphine has been one of the strongest champions for a few patches, though she doesn’t reign supreme in the mid lane, the position which you may associate her with. She, instead, currently has the highest win rate of 54.54 percent in Platinum and above when picked in the bottom lane. While she isn’t as mobile as some AD carries in the role, she offers great crowd control, utility, and damage, which always come in handy in AD-heavy compositions.

Karthus

Another mage shining the brightest in the AD carry role is Karthus. The Deathsinger has been reigning supreme in the position for a few patches now, and this hasn’t changed in 13.8 due to him not receiving any changes. With AP damage and an all-in playstyle, he will always unleash a ton of damage, which as it turns out, often results in high win rates. So far, he has a 53.78 percent win rate in the role.

Akshan

The first champion with a huge win rate in the mid lane is Akshan, with 53.12 percent. With the position filled by control mages and assassins, the mobile and reliable Akshan seems like a perfect counter who can shut enemies down relatively quickly. Once he gets ahead, it’s tough to wrestle control away from him.

Ornn

The first top laner on the list is Ornn. His rise to the top is actually quite baffling since he didn’t receive any direct changes this season, and neither did his items in Patch 13.8. Yet, he sits in fourth place with a 53.06 percent win rate. That said, we can’t take anything from Ornn, who’s just a really solid pick for the top lane with his immense tankiness and engage tools.

Cassiopeia

Another mage on the list who has been boasting high win rates, however, not in the standard role is Cassiopeia. The Serpent’s Embrace has a 53.05 percent win rate in the top lane, which makes sense if you look at her kit. With lots of low-cooldown, high-damage abilities it’s really easy for Cassiopeia to bully her enemies out of lane and make a huge impact in teamfights once she gets ahead.

Ziggs

Ziggs is similar to Karthus in the way he also has been recording incredibly high win rates in the bottom lane for a few patches now. When picked as an ADC, Ziggs is able to poke enemies out of lane while also having a solid impact on teamfights with his abilities. Overall, he’s a firm option for team compositions that aim to be aggressive from the get-go. Ziggs currently has a 52.48 percent win rate.

Maokai

Similarly to Ornn, Maokai hasn’t received any direct changes lately but still saw a rise in terms of his win rate, sitting at 52.48 percent on Patch 13.8 so far. Maokai has been a stellar pick since his major buffs in Patch 12.17, with sustain, engage, and solo damage being a few of his strongest assets.

Anivia

To round out the list, we have Anivia who hasn’t received any major changes this year but was heavily impacted by the new and updated items ahead of season 13. With the return of Rod of Ages, she once again dominates in mid lane, where she currently has a 52.47 percent win rate.

Zac

Zac is originally a jungler, and while some pro players use him in different positions like the mid lane, he currently has the highest win rate in the top lane with 52.40. Similarly to the jungle role, Zac’s engage and survivability make him a true pain in the neck for his enemies, especially if he gets ahead and becomes simply too tanky to slay.

Kog’Maw

To round out the list, we have Kog’Maw who actually received his first-ever buff to his passive in Patch 13.8 since launching in 2010. Besides that, he also got some minor buffs to a few other abilities, and it was enough to bring him back on top since he has a stellar win rate of 52.39 percent at the time of writing.
