Azuki, the popular anime-themed NFT collection, has recently launched the testnet for Anime.com.
This move is part of Azuki’s expansion into the anime space and aims to integrate blockchain technology with anime-related content, providing users with a digital space to collect and interact with anime-themed NFTs.
The testnet is now live, allowing users to access the platform and mint digital stickers as NFTs.

What is Anime.com?
The testnet phase for Anime.com is the initial step in what Azuki has described as a broader project.
Azuki has not shared much information about the project but has indicated that the platform will evolve over time with plans to further integrate the platform with existing digital assets within the Azuki ecosystem, potentially including Animecoin—according to Waleswoosh.
The Azuki team has also expanded its resources by hiring former Hollywood professionals Mark Goffman and Jessica Turner to help guide the development of its digital entertainment projects. Goffman, a former Consulting Executive Producer with experience in the Los Angeles film industry, and Turner, a former marketing lead with a background in franchise development for projects like Harry Potter, have joined the team.
