AMD RX 7600 XT available at the end of January
Finally, a new Radeon GPU.
Yesterday we reported rumors about the potential launch of the Radeon RX 7600 XT, and this information has now been corroborated by Benchlife. According to their sources, the card is expected to debut the week of January 22. According to our information, the specific date mentioned is January 24, which matches the details provided by Benchlife.
Interestingly, it was revealed that AMD will not introduce a reference model, commonly known as an MBA (Made by AMD) design. Instead, the RX 7600 XT will be exclusively available in custom variants. This development will be welcomed by board partners, who are tired of AMD prioritizing its reference designs in previous launches. But that means reviewers will only test custom designs, unlike the RX 7600 launch, which included a reference design primarily for testing purposes.
Among them, the Radeon RX 7600 XT is actually in AMD’s product planning and is expected to be released the week of January 22; At the same time, we will also see the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super.

The RX 7600 XT variant is expected to launch more than seven months after the non-XT variant. The reason behind AMD’s decision to wait this long remains unclear, especially considering the popularity of the $300 segment. However, the market for this price point is currently competitive, which may pose a challenge for introducing new models. This is especially true with the strong presence of the latest generation AMD RDNA2 and NVIDIA Ampere models.
Information leaked in September suggests that the RX 7600 XT could be available in two variants, with 10 GB or 12 GB of memory. Which specific model AMD will choose, or whether both versions are planned, remains unclear. What’s important to note is that AMD cannot increase the number of cores in the Navi 33 GPU beyond its current limit of 2048 cores, which is the configuration used by the RX 7600.
For the RX 7600 XT, AMD can opt for the Navi 32 with a reduced number of cores. This may explain the delay in the card’s release, as AMD is preparing a stockpile of partially disabled GPUs following the September launch of the RX 7800XT/7700XT, both based on Navi 32.
It’s worth adding that Benchlife’s sources confirm that there are no plans for non-XT variants of the Radeon RX 7800/7700 at the moment, contrary to what the recent EEC listing suggests.
