The Good Luck Jerry trailer is here. On Thursday, just a day after the teaser, Disney+ Hotstar dropped a full trailer for the Janhvi Kapoor-directed crime thriller.
In a caption on Twitter, Disney+ Hotstar wrote, “Jerry jitni bholi dikhti hain, utni hai nahi – chal padi hain ek adventure par, good luck nahi bolenge?”
The Good Luck Jerry trailer takes audiences into a riot of laughter, with Janhvi’s innocent-but-strong character, over Deepak Dobriyal’s amusing one-liners.
The Good Luck Jerry trailer, which is two minutes and forty seconds long, begins with a note: “Nasha chahe jaisa ho, hota yeh bekaar, sharer todta, bimaari laata, kar deta lachaar.”
Based in Punjab, Jaya Jerry Kumari (Kapoor) from Bihar works in a massage parlor to help his family. In order to help her sick mother, she mistakenly falls into a trap set by the drug mafia.
Good Luck Jerry is said to be an official Hindi remake of the Tamil feature film Kolamaavu Kokila, which starred Nayanthara in the lead role.
Besides Kapoor, Good Luck Jerry also stars Hindi Medium actor Dobriyal and Baby Sushant Singh actor in prominent roles.
Sidharth Sengupta (Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein) directs. Anand L Rai is producer of Good Luck Jerry.

“Siddharth has been a catalyst in really bringing out the Jerry in me! Working with Aanand L Rai has been an enriching and rewarding experience.
“Being part of this film has been a dream come true. I’m thrilled to have it released on Disney+ Hotstar. As an actor, it gives me the opportunity to make sure my work reaches a wider diaspora.”
Kapoor will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s social comedy film Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. The film is set to be released on April 7, 2023.
Good Luck Jerry will stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar starting July 29.
