“What do you mean? I’m going to throw up.”

Fighting game fans are in for a treat with almost every classic coming back now

It seems that Capcom didn’t just release the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection so early and has once again surprised its fans.

During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, The Capcom Fighting Collection 2 suddenly appeared on the screens of thousands/millions of people around the world, which of course sent the fighting game community into a bit of a frenzy, to say the least.

As with previous Marvel Collection reactions, fans who watched the stream (and those who came after) were caught off guard, likely not expecting another compilation so soon when the first one hasn’t even been released yet.

There is of course unbridled joy in seeing not only the two Capcom vs. SNK games return, but also games like Project Justice, which had not been available since the Sega Dreamcast port in 2001.

Additionally, they dug even deeper for Power Stone and Power Stone 2 which fans have been clamoring for years to see a new version of.

And of course, there’s a common thread of jokes from those reacting to the reveal that they might have left out Capcom Fighting Evolution, especially when the original Rival Schools aren’t included.

Maximilian Dood is probably the reaction most people wanted to see, and he didn’t disappoint.

At first, Max’s “what?” seems more confused and almost scared by what’s happening when Ryu and Terry appear on screen, which is followed by more swearing and yelling.

Knowing how his friend will react, Max immediately calls Kenny “Unrooolie” and tells him to avoid the internet at all costs until he can watch the Nintendo Direct.

Kenny complies, and when he sits down for his reaction, you can see the cute Power Stone and Rival Schools signs lit up behind him – so you can guess how this is going to go.

He starts jumping on CvS, but he can’t help but jump up and down when Justice appears on screen.

And when Power Stone appears, Kenny screams and jumps out of his chair so fast that he unplugs his microphone or headset, and you can comically hear the Windows notification sound when this happens.

He is so excited that he starts coughing and exclaiming that he almost threw up.

Koefficient also had to get out of his chair to find his old copy of CvS2 on the shelf.

It’s also nice to see the reaction of someone like the legendary Justin Wong, who was involved (or still is in some cases) in a few of these titles as well.

We’ve included some of the funniest reactions we could find to Capcom Fighting Collection 2 from Curiousjoi, Krimson KB, and Sages Gaming, which you can check out below – but don’t be surprised if you encounter some foul language among the excitement.
