This new UI for WhatsApp Channels may not be a new interface for Instagram users as Instagrammers know that sharing a post on Stories also has the same UI. However, this change can be seen as Meta’s way of bridging the gap between all its services and streamlining them, especially the user interface.
Well, this is a subtle and interesting change for WhatsApp channels because it is a feature intended to share information with millions of people. The new user interface will help add more context to shared content. WhatsApp already has a system for reporting status and channel updates that are harmful or violate its policies.
Apart from changing the UI of WhatsApp Channels, the new beta update also fixes a UI bug, according to the report. The bug that showed a large blue block on the bottom half of the screen was near the attachment sheet, which hid part of the conversation or the chat wallpaper. Fortunately, this bug has been fixed with the latest WhatsApp beta update.
