As effective as these cards are for completing checklists, they have become increasingly difficult to appreciate when compared to the full-sized card pool. Smaller maps result in borderline gruesome spawns, which only get worse as your team is bombarded with Killstreaks, Shotguns, and other “unfair” gameplay design choices.

Constant action on these smaller maps will reveal the “flaws” of the game. Shotguns aren’t the worst, but you will lose to them on a small map, spawns aren’t perfect, but you will spawn on someone in Meat.

One player summed it up perfectly: “These maps were not designed for 6v6, Shipment and Rust in particular. » For series veterans, Shipment was perfect for Cage Match and Free-For-All, the former being a 1v1 map, before turning into a nightmare playable in all modes.
