The Star Trek: Picard season 3 trailer has arrived. Following a preview last month on Star Trek Day, Paramount+ has now released a full trailer for the Patrick Stewart-led space franchise as he leads The Next Generation team on one final mission. Appropriately subtitled “The Final Season”, this new chapter features a total of 10 episodes and brings in recurring characters at a later stage in their arcs. Star Trek: Picard Season 3 premieres February 16, 2023, exclusively on Paramount+ where available. It will end its broadcast on April 20, 2023. In India, Star Trek: Picard Season 3 will air on Amazon Prime Video.

The Star Trek: Picard season 3 trailer begins with a “normal” life for Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Stewart), which is interrupted by a distress call. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden), who is stationed on a distant ship, has requested the backup of her longtime companion, urging Picard to bring the crew back from retirement. “We’re being hunted,” Crusher says in a voiceover, as we see Picard and a now elderly William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes) investigating the shuttle. The suspense is broken early, when Commander Vadic (Amanda Plummer) is revealed to be the culprit. “How very precise with your timing, Jean-Luc Picard,” she said mockingly, before ordering a direct strike on The Next Generation ship.
There also appears to be drama aboard the ship, as Starfleet officer Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton) expresses concern over Picard’s decision to bring in Ryker and Worf (Michael Dorn) for the final mission. The Star Trek: Picard season 3 trailer then gives a glimpse of Raffi (Michelle Hurd) defeating his enemies in hand-to-hand combat – portrayed as an irrational and violent character. “We will burn the ground under which he stands. And the night will light up with the ashes of the Federation,” declares the evil Vadic, as she orders continued attacks on Picard’s ship. His motives aren’t entirely clear, but there’s a revenge theme looming over it.
Of course, Vadic isn’t the only adversary featured in the Star Trek: Picard Season 3 trailer, as near the end we get our first look at Daniel Davis’ return as Professor Moriarty. , the hologram. Fans sticking around after the title card will also be treated to Brent Spiner, absent from previous promotional material for this season of Star Trek: Picard. He will return as Data’s evil twin android, Lore.

The third and final season of Star Trek: Picard will premiere on February 16, 2023 on Paramount+ where available and Amazon Prime Video in India. Paramount and Amazon reached an agreement in 2019.
