Initially leaked on May 16, images of Deadlock, a new six-versus-six hero shooter developed by Valve, surfaced online. Since then, interesting hero images and character details have also been shared through multiple sources.
Now, with more players slowly given access to the playtest, we’re getting a full look at the heroes we’ll be piloting–ranging from flying imps and blacksmiths to huge battle robots.
Here’s a full list of confirmed and leaked Deadlock heroes.
Full Deadlock roster: All playable characters
Valve has not officially shared info about Deadlock, so we’re going off what’s available in the playtest which may completely change by the time the game releases.
In May 21, Insider Gaming obtained a list of 19 characters reportedly featured in Deadlock’s current build. Some were featured in previous Deadlock leaks, but it wasn’t until a month or so later that we got our hands on the alpha.
In total, 20 heroes are available in Deadlock right now:
- Abrams
- A tanky hero who fights in close range with elements of a gargoyle and demon mixed into their design.
- Bebop
- A red robot that throws out a hook to capture and drag enemies.
- Dynamo
- A robot built around supporting and team-fighting with a very powerful black hole-like ultimate.
- Grey Talon
- A Native American inspired archer with traps and a powerful bow.
- Haze
- A gunslinging assassin who can turn partially invisible and is very mobile.
- Infernus
- A gangster who fires flame from his fingertips, burning enemies over time.
- Ivy
- An imp-like flying hero that can tether to and heal allies.
- Kelvin
- Wields a frost gun that freezes targets and creates ice paths to run on.
- Lady Geist
- A hero that sacrifices her own health to deal excess damage and use abilities.
- Lash
- A character with warrior-esque design qualities.
- McGinnis
- A blacksmith that summons turrets and walls and fires a barrage of missiles from her backpack.
- Mo & Krill
- A combo character made up of a monkey and a pig.
- Paradox
- A hero that manipulates time by freezing herself or enemies, and can instantly swap places with a target.
- Pocket
- Escapes using a briefcase and flies via a magic cloak.
- Seven
- Uses electricity to deal damage and stun enemy targets.
- Vindicta
- A vampire-like character with a sniper rifle.
- Viscous
- A hero that uses a goo-like substance to slow enemy targets, trap them in cubes, and even roll into battle protected.
- Warden
- A police officer with an all-around kit focused on mobility and lockdown.
- Wraith
- A character similar to a bounty hunter who “excels at one-on-one combat.”
- Yamato
- A samurai-like character with a focus on melee combat.
